DAGGER COORONG KAYAK FOR SALE

The Dagger Coorong is an Australian-made sea kayak designed for large flat waters, lakes and ocean.  This one was paddled out to Great Keppel Island, around the Keppels, and back to Rosslyn Bay by a club member. The rudder works well, and the hatch neoprene covers, deck lines, bungees and seat are in good condition.  A previous owner removed the bulkhead between the day hatch and the rear cargo compartment.  

This would make a good first kayak for a club paddler.  It would be a good kayak to learn in.  

According to the manufacturer, kayak length is 4.80m and width 0.55m.  Weight is 25kg.  I have seen a 75kg paddler in this kayak when it was empty, and they were a bit small for it.  I’m 92 kg, and while it carried me OK, I could not have carried more than day paddling gear without compromising kayak performance.  So the ideal paddler weight is probably in high 70s to 90kg range.

There is a spray skirt included.  It’s in average condition, but would get you started.  There is significant chafing around the edge of the skirt caused by boat-over-boat rescues.  This is why reinforced edges on sea kayak skirts are a very good idea.

KAYAK HALF SKIRTS & COCKPIT COVERS FOR SALE

Hi All,

I have been making Kayak Half Skirts and Cockpit Covers. 

They are custom made to your cockpit size. 

They are made of vinyl. I have the colours Red and Black available, but if you really would prefer a different colour I could look into that for you.

The Half Shirts come with the bungee cord going around the full cockpit rim. If you have a different way of wanting it attached, please let me know. Being custom made makes most things possible !

I have designed a little logo too, I hope you like it.

All I need is a template made of paper that covers too the outside rim of your cockpit. I do already have a few different templates, so maybe I don't need yours.
